One of the few rivers in California to have adequate water flows year round for rafting, The South Fork of the American River is a wonderfully fun guided rafting adventure for first timers, families and groups. The class 3 rapids are perfect for all types of participants, lots of action but not too intense for novices. Half, one and two day trips are available. River Park Resort is our riverfront campground featuring 3 large group sites. Bring your own camping equipment and invite your friends and families for a relaxing stay on the banks of the South Fork of the American River. We also have cabin tents available to rent and a riverside yurt. Our rafting and camping packages are very popular from May through October. You can book your camping site online and add a rafting trip when you arrive.
