The trip is self-guided and floats the class 2 section of the Stanislaus River from Knights Ferry to Orange Blossom Park. As Saturdays are the busiest, consider a midweek trip for a less crowded river experience.

For Stanislaus River rafting at the class 4 level, the Goodwin Canyon section is a great choice. This long time guide favorite is a classic pool drop river, and a few of the drops are truly impressive.
