Recent News!! Class 4 Yuba River trips will run from May 1 until June 15, 2010. This excellent 6 hour trip is perfect for adventurous rafters and it is less than a 2 hour drive from Sacramento. May flows are increased due to natural runoff so the river is at a rafting level that only occurs 2 months each year. Dear Owner/Manager,

After having had such a great time on the Yuba River on Thursday, June 29th, I felt it was necessary to write a letter expressing my appreciation. First, John, our river guide, gave us a very thorough safety talk, had all of the gear ready for us, was very timely, and I never felt like he was thinking, “Oh, this is just another river trip.” We felt like we were special. Thanks for letting him take the Red Suburban. That was extra cool. Second, his knowledge of the river was awesome and his technical abilities superb and he also was familiar with the local animal life as he pointed out a Merganser. We always felt very safe with him and we knew what to do and what not to do should we fall out of the boat. Third, John is very mature for his age and comes across as a swell guy. I did not have it together at his age like he has it together. We were impressed with the kindness showed by many of the people we ran into up in the mountains, especially John’s. I would like to recommend him for employee of the month should such a program be in place and we will definitely be requesting him should we come up again next year to run the Plum.
